NIASiT Committee Responsibilities
Your current NI ASiT Committee were elected on 6th May 2009 at the regional NI ASiT meeting held at the Mount Conference Centre. Below is a summary of the positions elected, and the relative responsibilities of each position. We would like to draw people's attention to these posts for future recruitment and elections.
Please take this opportunity to help your peers and colleagues and take up a rewarding post which can make a big difference locally
We would welcome any people interested in any of the posts in the future to feel free to contact any of the current committee if further advice is needed, and would be grateful if interested people could submit a very brief statement of no more than 250 words in order to simply outline who they are (incase people don't know you personally!), and what you would be prepared to do for NIASiT to take it forward in the future and to represent trainees in Northern Ireland to the School of Surgery. This does not have to be anything too intense! rather it is to let your peers know who they are voting for. An anonymous ballot will be held on the night of the meeting with the result announced at the meeting. Similarly if you think someone whould be good in the committee, and wish to nominate them, please feel free to do so and we will contact them on your behalf (incase they are too shy!). Please see at the bottom of this email for the address to email if you are interested in any of the positions.
