I am a 3rd Year SpR in General Surgery with a sub-specialist interest in Vascular Surgery.

I have been involved with ASiT in Northern Ireland since being elected as a SHO Rep, and I currently look forward to enhancing how ASiT works for trainees in Northern Ireland, and improving how our committee works as a team to address the issues that concern or interest you.

I also want to encourage further interaction between Northern Irish trainees and those in other regions, and look forward to improving trainee representation to National ASiT council. 

I think that improving morale of the surgical trainee body in Northern Ireland is essential at a time when things are becoming more disjointed and difficult, and it is important that we work out ways of improving a more 'lighthearted' and 'social' feeling to what we do, and the ways that trainees work together.
