ASiT Conference 2006

Laparoscopic skills course

The conference this year will feature our first laparoscopic skills course on Friday 17th March 2006.

This is an opportunity for trainees to receive instruction in all major aspects of laparoscopic technique, including basic manipulation and dissection, suturing and stapling, for both upper, and lower GI surgery.

This innovative and specially designed course aims to provide the essential laparoscopic skills required for Senior House Officers and Specialist Registrars, in the early years of their training.

The laparoscopic skills course will take place in the RCSEd state-of-the-art laparoscopic simulation labs.
