Discounted early-bird registration is available before Saturday 18 February 2012. From this date a higher late registration charge applies. We encourage delegates to register as early as possible in order to assist with conference planning.

Please note pre-conference courses usually sell-out in advance.

Conference Registration Charges

Registration includes conference entry on both Saturday and Sunday, delegate pack and conference bag, lunch and coffees. Please note pre-conference courses incur an additional fee.

The welcome drinks reception in the City Hall on Friday 23 March is free to all those registering for the conference.

  • Early-bird ASiT member: £150 before Saturday 18 Feb 2012
  • ASIT members from Saturday 18 Feb 2012: £225
  • Early-bird ASiT Non-Members: £295 (£345 from 18 Feb)
  • Early-bird Medical Student members: £95 (£125 from 18 Feb)
  • NB medical students must be ASiT members to attend

 

  • Subsidised Charity Gala Dinner party ticket (Full ASiT Members Only): £25
  • Guest Charity Gala Dinner party ticket (i.e. not registered for conference): £45

 

  • Drinks reception Friday 23 March 2012: Included in registration 

 

Onsite registration will be possible at the conference venue for a supplement.

Pre-Conference Courses

Every year ASiT organises a range of optional pre-conference courses for surgical trainees. For 2012 we are hosting eight events in Cardiff on Friday 23 March. These can be booked online with conference registration and offer fantastic value for money.

Key Conference Dates

• Abstract submission opens: 1 October 2011
• Conference registration opens: 1 November 2011

• Abstract selection announcement: End of February 2012

Cancellation of Registration

Unfortunately due to the cost of processing and administration, it is necessary to have a cancellation policy as outlined below:

Cancellations more than one month before the date of the conference will incur a 10% deduction of total cost of registration including courses.

Cancellations less than one month, but more than 14 days from the conference will incur a 50% deduction of the total cost of registration including courses.

Cancellations less than 2 weeks from the date of the conference will unfortunately be unable to be refunded as by then final numbers will have been confirmed with the conference venue and catering.
