Early-bird registration

This year we are offering a reduced registration fee for those who register before 22nd February 2009.

 

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED AND FULL PRICE REGISTRATION APPLIES AS PER THE DETAILS BELOW

 

Registration for the ASiT Conference 2009 includes

  • attendance at all presentation and scientific sessions
  • lunch on Saturday 28th March & Sunday 29th March
  • all refreshments during the conference
  • Option to purchase heavily subsidised tickets for the Gala Dinner and entertainment on the evening of Saturday 28th March

 

Conference Registration Prices

ASiT members

  • All trainees must join ASiT here prior to registering for the meeting*, or already be members of ASiT with an associated membership number. This costs £37.50 and is associated with a range of additional benefits (medical students £27.50)
  • ASiT member conference fee £185 prior to 22nd February 2009, £200 after that date.
  • Gala Dinner tickets can be purchased at the time of registration for £10 during early bird registration and £15 after that date.  Tickets purchased at other times will be subject to full price.
  • Note - Full registration and dinner in 2008 was £220

* Membership status will be verified prior to the conference


ASiT non-members

  • Only those people not eligible to apply for training posts (i.e. Consultants/Secretarial/PAMS etc.) may register for the meeting as non-members.
  • All UK trainees are eligible to join ASiT and MUST do so.
  • ASiT non-member conference fee £250 (no early-bird discount applies)
  • Heavily Discounted Gala Dinner Tickets can be purchased at time of registration


Medical Student Registration

  • Must join ASiT prior to Registration
  • Reduced Rate Registration Fee of £75 prior to the 22nd February, and £85 after that date.
  • University and year MUST be declared and verified at registration desk (Student Card)
  • Gala Dinner tickets may be purchased when registering


Extra dinner guest

  • Accompanying persons can attend the Gala Dinner without attending the Conference itself, but full price will be required for these tickets at £60 per person.

 

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately due to the administration and costs associated with payments, we must follow the cancellation policy as outlined below:

  • Cancellations prior to 9th March are entitled to a refund less 10% to cover credit card and payment processing fees
  • Cancellations prior to 20th March will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the registration fee due to requirement to inform minimum catering numbers by this date
  • Cancellations after the 20th March will unfortunately not be entitled to any refund of fees paid

 

 

 Payment by cheque

The preferred method of payment is by credit card using the Regonline system at the link provided, however we appreciate that a few people will require to pay by cheque.  If this is the case, please send a covering letter detailing what you are applying for eg ASiT member conference attendance +/- Gala Dinner Ticket +/- Course attendance, your Name, Grade, work institution, work address, home address, telephone number, and email address, along with your payment to:
