Making the Most of Foundation Training - London - October 2011

 

Making the Most of Foundation Training is a 1 day course, developed by ASiT, aimed at Foundation Doctors and medical students with an interest in a career in surgery. It is free of charge and will be delivered by members of the ASiT Council.

This will be of particular value to those who are planning on applying for Core Surgical Training. The aims of this course are:

  1. To provide guidance to medical students and Foundation doctors on choosing a surgical career  
  2. To provide advice on applications to core surgical training.


ASiT members who are currently Foundation Doctors or medical students will be eligible to attend. We expect this course to be popular and you are advised to reserve your place early. The full timetable and registration details are listed below.

This course will be limited to ASiT members who are currently foundation doctors or medical students. Please follow the following steps to register for the course:

1) Please ensure you are a current member of ASiT. To join ASiT, please visit http://www.asit.org/join

2) Please download and print off the registration form.

3) Complete all of the fields in the registration form. Please be sure to include an email address.

4) A deposit is required to register for this course. This will be returned to you on arrival at the course. Therefore, please return the completed registration form with a cheque for £50, payable to the Association of Surgeons in Training

5) Your place will be confirmed by email when we have received your completed registration form and deposit

6) Deposits will be cashed only in the event of non-attendance at the course. Two weeks notice will be required to cancel registration.
