ASSETS/Covidien Laparoscopic Stapling and Suturing Course
Next course: Friday 5th March 2010
Venue: Either St Marys Hospital, Portsmouth or Covidien Headquarters, Gosport, Hampshire (if the training centre in Portsmouth has not fully opened)
An intensive course suitable for trainees with experience in general laparoscopic surgery looking to progress or consolidate their skills in more advanced laparoscopic procedures.
Cost £50. Open exclusively to members of ASiT
Head of Faculty - Mr Amjad Parvaiz (National Trainer in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery)
The course will cover
Laparoscopic suturing
Intra- and Extra-corporeal knot tying
Sutured and stapled laparoscopic bowel anastomoses
Video presentations from expert panel
