Future Orthopaedic Surgeons Conference Scotland - Registration is now OPEN

Future Orthopaedic Surgeons (FOS) and the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association (BOTA) is pleased to be teaming up again, to bring you the Future Orthopaedic Surgeons Conference (FOSC) Scotland! Details are as follows:

Date: 29th July 2011
Time: 08:00-17:15
Venue: Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh

This national event is aimed exclusively at junior doctors and medical students interested in pursuing a career in Trauma and Orthopaedics. This event is aimed at providing you with accurate, up-to-date information regarding Orthopaedic training in Scotland. The morning will consist of lectures from eminent Orthopaedic surgeons covering the Orthopaedic subspecialties and giving delegates an insiders view of life as an Orthopaedic surgeon in Scotland. The afternoon will feature practical workshops to provide delegates with hands-on experience of Orthopaedic Surgery. Places for the workshops are limited, so do register early to avoid disappointment!

We are also inviting delegates to submit an abstract on any case presentations or research projects relating to Orthopaedics. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to present their work as a poster during the conference, and the best poster will be awarded the FOSC Scot Poster Prize. Certificates of attendance will be awarded for your CV and portfolio.
