Annual Meeting for the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery of Great Britain and Ireland.

The SCTS Annual Meeting is going to be held between 7th - 9th March 2010 at Arena and Convention Centre, Liverpool.

 
If you are considering a career in cardiothoracic surgery then attendance at the national meeting is a must!  Surgeons from the UK and around the world attend to discuss the future of the specialty, present their own units research and enjoy a social aspect.  For the first year, a student poster prize is being held. 
 
There will be opportunity to speak informally to surgeons of all grades and gain some insight into the specialty and career progression. There is a trainee meeting on Sunday where issues of workforce planning and national selections to training posts will be discussed.

Registration at this meeting has been set at a special rate for students of £25 for the entire meeting.  If you can attend only a selection of the days then this is fine.
