Trainees with an interest in Perioperative Medicine (TriPOM) is an educational collaborative run by and for trainees and all other professionals who come into contact with the surgical patient. It aims to provide useful educational content which is linked to major postgraduate education curricula.
TriPOM organises national meetings, a weekly journal club based in departments around the world using social media, a tutorial of the month in perioperative medicine (TOMPOM), a monthly review of relevant articles and compiles a comprehensive directory for fellowships in perioperative medicine with content generated from previous post holders. As an organisation, it works in close partnership with other societies and trainee associations with the ultimate goal of improving training and quality of care. Membership is open to members of all healthcare disciplines.
