BJS How to write a paper workshop - Saturday, March 23rd

This popular short course, which is delivered by BJS editors, is designed to help you get your work into print. It is not an attempt to cover every aspect of writing, nor is it possible to go into detail of the pros and cons of different types of study design or data interpretation. Instead, this course focuses on the basic skills common to all published work that can make a difference between acceptance and rejection. The course is designed to be interactive and course materials will be provided. The course is divided into eight sections, the first of which is an introduction to the world of scientific publication. Four sections are interactive, each consisting of one or more brief tutorials, a series of related tasks, small group discussion and a review. There is a separate tutorial on issues surrounding research misconduct. Please note attendees for this workshop will be charged a £50 deposit, refunded on attendance.

More courses to be confirmed in due course.
