Trainees will be sent a laparoscopic training box in which skills can be performed in a remote setting. Basic skills including transferring objects, laparoscopic suturing, intra- and extracorporeal knot tying and laparoscopic appendicectomy will be demonstrated by faculty who will then provide virtual mentoring to delegates. Simulated models including small bowel and appendixes will be incorporated into the session allowing trainees to perform a simulated laparoscopic appendicectomy
