ASiT Cardiothoracic Course - ASiT 2018 Pre-Conference Course

Venue: Edinburgh International Conference Centre - Carrick Room

Friday 6th April 2018

Over the last few years, there has been a greater trend towards the ST1 run through programme for National recruitment into cardiothoracic surgery. We will be running through portfolio tips and core surgical skills in cardiothoracic surgery and giving individual career advice and surgical tuition. We will also be teaching delegates how to practice these skills at home and construct their own surgical trainers using common materials such as a ironing board, sewing thread, shoe lace, blue tac, polo mints and ice cream tubs.

Course convenors: Jonathan Afoke, Jacob Chacko, Ahmed Al-Adhami

This course can be booked through the on-line conference registration system when registering for the conference
