This popular, free one-day course will equip senior medical students and junior doctors with many of the fundamental techniques required for success the early years of surgery. Topics include sterile technique and gloving, safe surgical practice, suturing, knot-tying, applying a plaster and many more.
We will demonstrate how through this course you can begin to attain and relate the competencies that you need to progress your training in Surgery. (suturing both interrupted and continuous, knot tying)

(subcuticular sutures, mattress sutures, further skills: excision of lesions, Aberdeen knots)
