It is ASiT’s pleasure to announce the Preparing for a Career in Surgery (P4CS) series taking place on the 14th and 15th of October.
Please join the UK’s largest virtual event for aspiring surgeons and learn from trainees who have been through the process. This is a highly successful series aimed at medical students and early years doctors looking to apply for their first surgical training post (Core Surgical Training).
From making a competitive application to how to plan a surgical "FY3", join us for talks from the length and breadth of surgical training! New this year, we will be introducing an "FY3" workshop where you can discuss your plans and ideas with people who taken an "FY3" recently and receive feedback.
Making a come-back this year, our much-acclaimed portfolio clinics will be up and running for trainees to gain valuable feedback on their CV’s. Please note spaces are limited and trainees applying this cycle (2023-2024) will be prioritised. These slots will be released later and all registered participants will be contacted about these.
