In order to allow ASiT members to have specific desired content represented at conference, we launched the ASiT member spotlight session scheme in 2018. ASiT members can submit their idea for a parallel/breakout session they would like delivered at the 2020 Birmingham conference, and will be paired up with an ASiT council/executive member to help design and deliver their idea.
In previous years the scheme has proven to be very successful with sessions being widely received well.
Past successful member spotlight sessions include those on burnout, emergency general surgery, surgery grand round cases, medicolegal aspects of surgery and an LGBTQ session.
