Webinar 2: "Data-driven decision making for surgery during the COVID-19 pandemic: Perspectives for trainees"
Description: CovidSurg is a global collaborative which has now collected data on 10,000 patients across 550 hospitals in 70 countries. Join us for discussion of their new analysis accepted for publication in the Lancet, including the reporting of outcomes of 1900 patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection perioperatively. We will also reflect on the modelling study of elective cancellations during the peak phase of the pandemic, and its impact on clinical practice and surgical training.
