Battle of the Student Surgical Societies 2020!
Are you a member of a student Surgical Society?
Make sure your society is signed up with the ASiT Battle of the Medical Student Surgical Society Competition!
What is it?
ASiT are continuing on the highly successful surgical society competition – Battle of the Student Surgical Societies. This gives every surgical society the unique opportunity to submit and battle for a prize pot of funding towards an event they will run!
How do I get involved?
Develop a proposal (500 words max.) for a surgical training event you want to run in your region and submit your proposal to ASiT (firstname.lastname@example.org and please CC email@example.com) with the subject Battle of the Surgical Societies 2020. Please expand on the benefits of your event to attendees, any invited speakers, how you’re planning on delivering the event and what the funding will contribute towards. The top five proposals will be invited to a finale at the ASiT conference in Birmingham 2020 and judged in live voting by the audience. The top scoring proposal will receive funding (£500) to run the event in your region.
Eligibility Criteria: Submitting applicant must be an ASiT member. The event must be free of charge for ASiT student members. Please note this application must be for, or on behalf of the surgical society.
