IDEAL Conference 2024
The IDEAL 2024 Conference will be taking place on Wednesday 3rd to Thursday 4th April in London, championing the advancement of safe and innovative surgical practices on a global scale.

This year the conference will take a deep dive into three critical areas:
- Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
- Global Surgery
- Education.
The conference provides a platform to discuss the latest developments in these areas, fostering an environment where experts from diverse backgrounds can share methodological research, real-world evaluation, and opportunities for collaboration. The conference will feature a series of thought-provoking keynotes from international speakers.
Furthermore, the IDEAL 2024 Conference invites the submission of abstracts, providing an opportunity for participants to contribute their work. Accepted abstracts will be published in BMJ Surgery, Interventions, & Health Technologies, offering contributors the chance to make a significant impact in the surgical community.

Global IDEAL Fellowship
- The IDEAL Conference 2024 is pleased to offer 5 fellowships to enable international delegates from Low-to-Middle Income Countries to attend the conference virtually on 3rd and 4th April 2024. The reduced fee for attending the conference will be £10.
- Please submit your application and CV by 29th February 2024 12pm GMT. The IDEAL collaborative will review your application and contact you if your application is successful.
