Exciting Opportunity for Vascular Trainees!

The Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT), in collaboration with Rouleaux, is delighted to announce the availability of three educational grants to attend international courses of high educational
value, which are not covered under study leave arrangements.

It is specifically aimed at supporting participation in the prestigious European Vascular Course hosted annually in Maastricht, Netherlands. However, trainees are welcomed to apply to other accredited vascular skills courses.

The grant's objective is to facilitate access for advanced vascular trainees to esteemed international
programmes, addressing the common hurdle of limited funding for trainees in vascular surgery
seeking international courses or conferences.

Amount: 
3x £500 to cover registration fees and travel expenses

Application criteria:

• Applicant must be a vascular trainee (ST3 level and above).
• Applicant must be a member of both the Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT) and Rouleaux

Application Process:

Applicants must submit the following:
1. An up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV).
2. A completed application form:

• Name of applicant.
• Email contact of applicant.
• Current job title of applicant.
• ASiT and Rouleaux Membership Numbers.
• Detailed description of its relevance to the applicant's current training and future
  career goals.

3. A letter of recommendation from a current supervisor 
 
The selection committee (ASiT and Rouleaux) will review all applications and award bursaries based on the merit of the educational activity, the benefit to the trainee's education and future career, and financial need.
