ASiT x Dukes Club Fundamentals of Coloproctology
Course outline
The Fundamentals of Coloproctology course is for junior surgical trainees (CT1-ST4) and will be appropriate as a pre-conference course at ASIT. The course has been developed by ACPGBI Education and Training lead Nicola Eardley in partnership with the Dukes’ Club. Previously the course has been sponsored by Medtronic and have organized at Sheffield General hospital and at the recent ACPGBI annual conference.
The course runs between 9.00am- 5.30pm and consists of 7 practical sessions. We usually accommodate 14 delegates. We aim for a 1:3 faculty ratio.
Prior to each practical session delegates receive a brief talk and demonstration. I have attached an invoice from our previous course which outlines the cost. Medtronic has kindly sponsored previous courses and provided all the equipment.
